Behavioral questions in job interviews can throw off even the most confident person. This program is designed to help you understand--from a hiring manager's perspective--the purpose of behavioral questions and how best to handle them.

Whether you are currently interviewing, or just gathering the courage to step out there, this program will serve you well. In it, you'll practice how to create your career success stories--and how to tell them in under two minutes! No more dreading the question, "Tell me about a time when..."

  •  The SAR model of story telling
  •  How managers are trained to listen to career stories
  •  Practice telling your own story
  •  Feedback from your peers
   

About Judy Anderson

Judy Anderson is a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), certified since 1998, with more than 20 years HR experience in service, manufacturing and retail business environments. Her areas of HR expertise include workforce and career development, recruitment and talent management.

For 14 years, Judy served as HR Director for Sallie Mae, the nation's leading student loan provider. There, she served a 1,300-seat call and service center in Killeen, with additional HR responsibility for four regional Sallie Mae sites. Most recently Judy has been actively involved in leading the efforts of HIRED Texas Job Club, located in Round Rock, assisting local unemployed individuals navigate their career transitions.
