Career Transition SIG

We’ve all heard  you have 30 seconds to make a good first impression, and in a job interview decisions are made before you even sit down.  During the interview, our non-verbal behavior can communicate more loudly than words, confirming or undermining our message. Yet, when preparing for an interview, we spend our time planning WHAT we’re going to say, not HOW we will say it!

Join us as Susan Brooks, executive coach, shows you how you can:

  • Increase your awareness of the impact of "non-verbals" have in establishing our credibility and competence
  • Identify behaviors to use in the first 30 seconds to get things off to a great start
  • Use gestures to stay in control, especially during panel interviews
  • Be authentic. Being you - in a great mood!

Susan Brooks, M.Ed., is an Interview Prep Coach specializing in non-verbal communication.  With 20 years of Career Coaching and Communication Skills Training in Fortune 500 companies, most recently she has worked with high-tech industry leaders like IBM, Microsoft and Cisco, teaching Leadership and Executive Presence.

“My mission is to help you crack the code on how YOU can show up with power and presence.”
