eLearning/Instructional Design SIG Program Description

Research tells us that approximately 70% of all change initiatives fail. It’s a sobering statistic.

Organization change management (OCM) is a structured approach to enhance the speed, adoption, and sustainment of a business transformation.

In this short introduction to managing the “people side” of change, learn the common reasons transformation efforts fail, and how to improve the chances of success in your next project.

Speaker Profile:  Beverly Moore

Beverly is an internal consultant in organization change
management for Dell.   She works with business teams to devise and implement communication, training, and stakeholder engagement strategies to drive business transformation.

Beverly has over 25 years experience in designing and executing change management and organizational development strategies for large scale corporate and customer initiatives,  Prior employers include Ascension Health (Seton), Misys Healthcare Systems (now Allscripts), and American Express.

Beverly is a lifetime member of the Austin chapter of the American Society for Training & Development (ASTD) and served five years on the board, including president in 2008.
