Coaching Fundamentals and Strategies

ATD Austin is excited to kick off a brand new Coaching Cohort.

If you are a current or emerging manager, director, executive-level leader, or in a talent/HR role, join the first meeting to learn more about this exclusive cohort and some fundamentals of coaching. We will also request your input to help design the remaining cohort sessions. 

This cohort consists of a series of virtual workshops (once a quarter) with a select group of leaders interested in improving their coaching skills; the cohort group will be determined after the first meeting.

May 28 Introductory Session Objectives:

• Understand the value of developing individuals, high potentials and leaders and benefits to an organization.
• Discuss the foundation and mindset needed to be an impactful coach.
• Discover some proven approaches to create positive change in individuals and leaders.

Coaching Cohort Leader: Stefan Werdegar

Stefan’s experience spans over 20 years across client management, consulting, executive recruitment, training/development and sales. His industry experience has traversed the technology, biotech, healthcare and health information technology industries.

He has coached countless executives toward achieving career and leadership goals and helped to position them in the market with effective personal branding. Stefan has placed numerous executives in senior roles in a variety of organizations as an executive search consultant. Through his experience he guides organizations in building high performing teams. Stefan is Founder and CEO of Career Sharma, where he provides career and leadership development coaching for individuals (Manager –C-suite), and executive team development and recruitment for organizations. He also serves as Manager of Professional Development at the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS).

He is certified in the Hogan Leadership assessment series and the Decision Style assessment. Stefan is a frequent speaker and moderator at a number of regional and national association conferences.
