Inspired by the ATD International Conference and Exposition (ICE) this is a meeting devoted to lessons learned and hot topics at the conference. It is a time for those who attended to share what we are going to apply to our work and for those who did not attend to pick up pointers from some of the most significant events - including keynotes by Oprah Winfrey and Seth Godin. About our Speaker:
Linda Warren is the Director of Learning and Talent Development at Thornton Tomasetti, a global structural engineering firm. She oversees training, performance management, and inclusion and diversity. She is an ATD National Advisor for Chapters (NAC) for states in the midwest, she runs Austin’s Leader in Learning award program and coordinates Austin’s Feet on the Street SIG. Andrea Soriano graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio and has 10 years of a professional training background in the public and private sectors. She was a FranklinCovey certified facilitator for 6 years and earned the Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) credential from ATD in 2015 with a "training delivery" area of expertise. She has delivered classroom training on topics such as LMS administration, technical software training, leadership development, time management, personal effectiveness and more. Andrea also served on the Board of Directors for the Association for Talent Development San Antonio chapter from 2015-2017 that serves the learning and development/training community.
