Using social media for professional development not only allows you to grow and expand your network, but also is a way that recruiters and employers learn more about you. Join the September chapter meeting to learn practical tips and strategies for using social media for development, improving your professional social brand, and networking.

This will be a hands-on meeting so come ready with the device of your choice to connect and engage!

You will learn how to:

  • Draft a compelling personal headline statement that will differentiate you
  • Apply techniques for growing your professional social media network
  • Optimize your professional development experience on social media

With 20 years in learning and development, Angie Hubert has a wide array of experience in training and instructional design, organization development, and learning technology implementation, allowing her to bring a unique approach to organizational talent development. Beyond Angie’s learning technology expertise, she has used social channels to learn, connect, and engage in a variety of avenues, has had a successful blog, has recently started podcasting, and is the current Director of Social Media for the chapter.
