60 Seconds to Impress! Career Stories that Win Jobs

Whether you are networking or going into a job interview, you want to have prepared stories about your past performance. These “STAR” stories become the content for your job interviews.  They can also serve you very well for that all-important “Elevator Speech.” You might have feared this process in the past. It begins with those dreaded questions: “Tell me about a time when you….” Or, “Hi, what do you do?”

The purpose of this session is to help you prepare several STAR stories that impress the listener in 60 seconds or less and give you confidence. We’ll also provide questions that help you discover your best career stories. You might want to bring your current resume for inspiration!

Attendees also receive a certificate worth $250 for a free, Career Review by telephone. This session is open to the public. We provide beverages. Please bring a brown bag lunch and encourage friends and family to attend.
