The Power of Story From a Neuroscience and Evolutionary Psychology Perspective in Learning From an Evolutionary Psychology Perspective

It turns out our brains are hard-wired to learn through story. For most of human existence, we didn’t have, or have access to, the written word. So how could information be passed from generation to generation without being written down? Through story.

When we study the power of story in learning, from a Neuroscience perspective, we find that story allows us to organize information and apply it. More important, the information we are storing as a story is more easily accessed and applied at the time we need it. And perhaps coolest of all, when you tell your learners a story, they are more likely to engage in teamwork and care for their fellow employees.

This webinar not only makes the case for using story and narrative in your learning programs, it also gives you examples of stories that were used successful in learning programs.
