Come join us exploring the concept and practice of Blended Learning. We will discuss and expand on what Blended Learning can be. We will explore what are considerations for different choices in learning and why to choose your mixed platform options. Bonus discussion on engagement and different learning platforms.

Jane “Star” Fisher, CPLP is all about developing others and herself.

She works as a Senior Content Designer at Aurigo, specializing in Instructional Design. She also occasionally acts as consultant, coach, and public speaker specializing in Instructional Design, Training, and Performance Improvement. She has decades of experience in Workplace Learning and Performance. She holds a Master of Science in Instructional and Performance Technology from Boise State University.

Star is also accredited as a Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP). Through the local ATD chapter, Star has voluntarily provided four 9-month-long programs helping other CPLP candidates prepare in the then 9 Areas of Expertise, including Instructional Design, Training Delivery, Improving Human Performance, and Facilitating Organizational Change. In 2011, Austin ASTD recognized her as “Exemplary CPLP Trainer,” a unique award.

Star excels at creating Interactive Learning Events (ILEs) to maximize classroom learning and student participation and has been referred to as the “Games Guru.” Come prepared to participate in the learning!

Event registration fees should be paid online by credit/debit card at the time of registration. If you need to cancel your registration, please contact administration@tdaustin.org. All cancellations are subject to a $10.00 administrative fee. No refund will be given for cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the event.
