with Catherine Jewell, Professional Career Manager

Are you ready for the first question of every job interview? It’s usually “Tell me about yourself.” Not really a question, but a demand to tell your career story. Catherine Jewell, The Career Passion® Coach, helps dozens of clients each year prepare for tough job interviews. In this powerful and lively session, you will learn how to answer that first question, plus how to create great stories you can tell to impress your interviewer and win a job offer.

In this interactive session you will learn:

  • How to tell about yourself AND relate to the job at hand
  • How to find STAR stories in the most ordinary job
  • How to craft your stories so that they are interesting and memorable
  • How to increase your likeability in an interview
  • What you should never include in an interview story

Catherine suggests you bring a copy of your current resume, so that you can use your achievements as memory joggers. We will be doing a paired exercise to find new stories and modeling how you can strengthen the stories you already have.
