Designing & Delivering a Flipped Classroom

with Host Leah Carrubba

The flipped classroom is a training model in which the typical lecture and homework elements of a course are reversed. Short video lectures are typically viewed by students before the class session. In-class time is devoted to exercises, projects or discussions.

In this forum we will focus on how and when it makes sense to incorporate Flipped Learning into a corporate learning environment. With what you learn here, you could go from “Sage on the Stage to a Guide on the Side.”

We will explore:

  • Pros/cons of this format
  • Structure and models (Project-based, Game-based)
  • Technology needs and potential gaps
  • How to develop and evaluate the learning
  • How to make it fun for everyone
