Smart phones and tablets are so commonplace that it would be silly NOT to use them in your training. Right? The question is: which tools are best and why?

In this fast-paced program you will learn:

  • Why build Communities of Practice?
  • How blogs, IM and other new media tools can assist learning
  • How to make discussion forums serve as learning platforms

Your Presenter - Diana Brauhn

       

Diana’s background includes a lifetime of public speaking to audiences of all sizes. In the early days of homeschooling, she developed curriculum used for her own children. She consulted on global training development for technicians maintaining high tech manufacturing lines, incorporating problem solving processes and decision making analyses. She was part of the team writing CBT training to replace the ILT training for Navy engineers, including the design and development of significant gamification with measurable positive outcomes.

Diana holds a B.S. in Computer Science, an M.Ed. in Instructional Design and is working on her Ph.D. in Instructional Design for Online Learning.  

Meetings are free to members and $10 for non-members.
