The following role descriptions are high-level summaries of key responsibilities. Full job descriptions with approximate time commitment for each role are available upon request by emailing volunteers@tdaustin.org.

• President Elect: (1-year term) Serve alongside the current president and learn the ropes of how to manage the Chapter. Perform administrative and strategic tasks to support CARE requirements. Attend and facilitate board meetings, participate in strategic planning sessions, manage relationships with partners and sponsors, and grow your leadership and business skills in preparation for being the incoming Chapter president.

• VP of Finance: (2-year term) Work with the Chapter board members to develop annual budgets, monitor compliance with budgets, and partner with our bookkeeper to ensure strong financial performance and controls for the Chapter. Collaborate with board members on strategic planning for the chapter and attend Chapter events. Coach and manage the Director of Partnerships role to ensure strong partnerships and sponsorships to support Chapter activities and promote growth. 

• Director of Projects and Events: (1-year term) Bring chapter leaders together cross-departmentally to work together on special projects and events. Use organizational skills and project management methodologies to create and execute on project plans for events and internal initiatives. Ensure the delivery of top-notch member events by facilitating meeting committee planning sessions, working with vendors to secure space and catering, collaborating with the Programs and Marketing teams on event agendas and guest speakers, and working with the Administration and Membership teams to coordinate volunteers and physical branding items and equipment for events. 

• Director of Socials: (1-year term) Schedule, plan, and facilitate in-person and virtual social networking events for the Austin talent development community. Work with the Director of Projects and Events to coordinate event space. Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team to promote upcoming networking socials. Facilitate fun networking activities to introduce community members to Chapter members and leaders. Work alongside the VP of Membership to foster member engagement and satisfaction.
