ATD Austin Volunteer of the Year Award

Award Description

In appreciation of all of the volunteer efforts that have been donated to promote learning and development, the Austin chapter of the Association for Talent Development (ATD) is presenting a Volunteer of the Year award to recognize an ATD Austin chapter volunteer who has:

  • Made contributions that positively impacted Austin's learning community (ATD Austin members and guests)
  • Been a positive ambassador for ATD Austin in ways that may have contributed to recruiting or retaining ATD members or enhanced ATD's community impact
  • Promoted ATD Austin's mission "to advance the Austin Area learning and talent development community. ATD Austin is the local chapter of the international ATD professional association. ATD is the world’s leading organization focused on the promotion and advancement of workplace learning and performance."


Volunteer of the Year nominees must be ATD Austin members in good standing. Austin chapter board members are not eligible. Entries are accepted from anyone based in the Austin area (Bastrop, Bell, Burnet, Caldwell, Hays, Travis, and Williamson counties) who has knowledge of the nominee's contributions to the Austin learning community and ATD Austin. The nomination must be based on the nominee's contributions during the calendar year.

Award Presentation

The winner of the Volunteer of the Year Award will be announced at the ATD Austin Awards Banquet in December.
