For the seventh consecutive year, ATD Austin is hosting the Leader in Learning program, which recognizes outstanding work in the learning and development arena. Local learning and development professionals are encouraged to submit projects for this initiative. Applications are reviewed by Certified Professionals in Learning and Performance (CPLPs) who determine a recipient for the top honor each year. In addition, this initiative serves as a platform for sharing expertise in the learning and development community. Applicants are invited to describe their award submission, share what is remarkable about their work, share lessons learned, and share advice for others working on similar projects.
An application and additional information is available on the ATD Austin website. An information session will be posted here later this year. Anyone interested in finding out about the application process and judging is encouraged to attend. Questions can be sent to the Leader in Learning Coordinator, Linda Warren lawarren@mac.com at any time.
The recipient of the Leader in Learning Award is announced at the Austin ATD awards banquet during Employee Learning Week in early December.
