One of today’s greatest challenges in professional development is finding the time to learn and develop ourselves. How can we make this easier?

MICROLEARNING!

In this day of instant gratification, streaming information, and 280 character-based communications, has become challenging to hold our attention over extended periods of time. Research indicates that individuals can retain approximately five to seven pieces of information at a time; therefore, it seems logical that providing bite-sized information will increase retention.

Why Microlearning?

  • It's a more cost-effective learning vehicle to build, deploy, and maintain.
  • Provides bite-sized learning in five minutes or less while increasing retention.
  • Provides quick and easy ways to access information.
  • Comes in many forms – videos, games, job aids, quizzes, podcasts, blogs, activities, etc. – the possibilities are endless.

Join us at Trellis Company for this exploration of microlearning and see if its flexibility can work for you!
