Career The Career Transitions CoP is designed for talent development professionals who are seeking a new opportunity, or anyone interested in joining the training profession. You’ll learn new strategies for your job search, get job openings, and network with others. Some of the topics covered:

Learning Technologies The Learning Technologies CoP presents the latest developments in blended and technical learning, instructional design, eLearning and educational technology. Our meetings are small and formatted so that you can ask questions of our host presenter to deepen your understanding of the learning industry. You'll leave with information you can put to work! Meetings are free for members and $10 for non-members. Some of the topics covered:
| About your Host: Tiffany Rhodes serves as the liaison for the organization featuring the latest in virtual ideologies across industries. Her experience and broad knowledge give her the ability to reach out to a wide range of constitutes and industry leaders through out the United States. She brings 20 years of experience in leading innovative teaching and learning for academia and corporate settings. As a leader in the community she promotes STEM program to underrepresented youths in the community through the Boys and Girls Club and Community Engagement Events. |

| About Your Host: After being in the L&D industry for nearly a decade (wearing many hats…as we all tend to do), Nicki found her passion in instructional design (ID). Nicki has had the opportunity to gain ID experience in the traditional landscape of higher education, the process-oriented corporate world, and the fast-paced and ever-changing environment of tech startups! Nicki has a master's degree specializing in Training and Development. With her educational background and professional experience combined, she takes a systematic approach to help stakeholders achieve their goals regarding L&D. Whether she is developing curriculum paths, creating training programs, or designing learning products—Nicki is always focused on creating transformative and behavior-based experiences. The opportunity to make someone’s life better (or at least easier) by helping them improve their skills or enhance their scope of knowledge is both rewarding and gratifying. |
Training Delivery and Facilitation Training delivery and facilitation are means by which talent development professionals help individuals improve performance at work by learning new skills and knowledge. The Training Delivery and Facilitation CoP offers trainers insight into understanding the learner’s needs, creating the right environment for learning, building rapport with participants, and using the appropriate delivery options and media to make learning engaging, effective, relevant, and applicable. | About Your Host: ![]() Matthew is a Master Trainer and has a passion for developing himself and others. He has obtained his Prosci Change Practitioner certification and ATD Master Trainer designation, and has been in the coaching and facilitating industry for over six years. Although he grew up in Michigan, Matthew loves calling Texas home. When he's not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife Erica and his two children Kayla and Micah. He also enjoys college sports, good food and great music. Those who know him know they can always count on him for a good laugh, a kind word, and his willingness to keep the learner’s needs the highest priority. |
