Fall Into L&D

Leaves change. Goals grow. Networks expand

Our October ATD Austin social is a chance to step away from the workday and spend some time with people who understand the world of talent development.

Come by for a casual happy hour at The Domain. Catch up with people you know, meet someone new, talk through a challenge you're facing at work, share what's next in your career, or simply enjoy a good conversation with other people in the field.

You don't need to be an ATD Austin member to attend. If you work in talent development, are curious about the field, or just want to meet more people in the Austin L&D community, you're welcome here.

What to Expect

This is a relaxed, come-and-go social. There isn't a presentation or formal agenda. You'll have time to:

Meet talent development professionals from across Austin
Reconnect with familiar faces and introduce yourself to someone new
Talk about career goals, workplace challenges, and what's happening in L&D
Exchange ideas, resources, and inspiration
Make a new friend, professional connection, or maybe even meet a future collaborator or client

Come on your own or bring a colleague. Stay for a little while or spend the evening with us.

Come as you are. Leave with a few more people in your corner.

This year’s Talent Development Summit is about moving from vision to action. Moving Beyond the Blueprint explores what happens after the strategy is set and the plan is on paper: the work of turning ideas into programs, practices, systems, and cultures that make a lasting impact.

Throughout the Summit, we’ll focus on the real work of building in talent development. That means practical approaches you can put to use, honest conversations about what works and what doesn’t, and opportunities to learn alongside other professionals navigating similar challenges.

This isn’t just a day to collect ideas. It’s a day to work with them.

Early Bird Pricing Through October 1:

ATD Austin Members: $60
Guests: $80
New Membership + Summit Bundle: $160

Early bird registration includes the post-Summit Networking Happy Hour at no additional cost.

After October 1, Summit registration is $70 for members and $90 for guests. Happy Hour admission may be added for $20.

Networking Happy Hour

End the Summit with connection and conversation at our Networking Happy Hour at. All attendees enjoy 2 drink tickets and appetizers as part of the event. Location to be announced soon.

Time: 4:00 – 7:00 pm

Summit attendees: Early bird pricing inlcudes complimentary admission (RSVP with the code in your registration email).

After October 1: Add the Happy Hour to your Summit registration for $20.

About Your Speaker:

Isla Reddin, Corporate Performance Coach

Isla Reddin is a corporate performance coach passionate about bringing diverse tools and strategies to support individuals and teams to grow and reach their desired goals. Her background in curriculum design, training, and project management informs her coaching practice. Isla believes new tools and paradigms of learning need to be constantly created to meet the needs of individuals and society.

In her early career, Isla supported global sales, media, and PR events for international automotive, pharmaceutical, and financial services companies. In the past 15 years, she has worked in Europe and the US as a consultant and corporate performance coach with multiple clients, and as an entrepreneur in the tech, and education spaces. She understands how to help leaders and teams handle the diverse challenges they face with practical, creative, and flexible solutions.

The ATD Austin Chapter has been pre-approved by the ATD Certification Institute to offer educational programs that can be used towards initial eligibility and recertification of the Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) and Associate Professional in Talent Development (APTD) credentials. This program qualifies for a maximum of 1 point.
